Show up on your doorstep late Christmas Eve, they may have something important to say. You will have to listen carefully.
They are the Goats of Christmas Past.
Their message may be baaaa’d.
This is the Christmas Card I created for 2024 that Peggy and I have sent out to family and friends and are now sharing with our blogging family. Thanks so much for joining us in our adventures this previous year as we traveled from the Florida Everglades, to the Pacific Coast and National Parks of America, to the Danube River of Europe. We are looking forward to having you along in 2025. May you have a great holiday season and a peaceful and Happy New Year! Curt and Peggy
Happy Holidays to both of you! May 2025 provide more adventure, laughter, learning and memories.
Well thanks, Carol. Appreciated. The very best to you and Steve as well as we move into a new year, hopefully filled with adventures. –Curt and Peggy
Love the goats. The Greatest of All Time. Merry Christmas.
Thanks, Craig. Enjoyed your post. The best to you and your family know and into 2025!
Happy holidays to the traveling two! I love your blog and conversations and appreciate so much the detail that you put into it. I am joining my little family tomorrow and celebrating the end of a year that was as mysterious as any other! I am looking forward to your next year! Travel Safe!
Sincerely,
Wendy in Olyland!
The very best to you and your family, Wendy: This Christmas and moving on into the New Year.
Be safe and have a grand Christmas!!
Thanks, G.
Wishing you a Happy Christmas and blessed New Year.
Thanks, Peggy.
At least Billy was chewing the grass and not smoking it! Your cartoons always are the best, just like your travel accounts. Here’s to continued health and happiness for the new year, and plenty of chances to add more miles to your total!
Thanks Linda. Appreciated! I thought of making the grass look like marijuana but the idea was vetoed by my better half! LOL.
❤️❤️❤️
Merry Christmas from the Great White North and all the Best in the New Year!
I love your card, Curt, and I’ve loved joining you and Peggy on your travels. I hope your Christmas was wonderful and wish you a 2025 of great adventures. Hugs.
Thanks, D. I always have fun with the cards and we’re glad you enjoy the adventures! Next up, Peggy and I have rented a house next to Hawaii’s Volcano National Park for a month.
I too have enjoyed following you and your adventures as an author! ❤️
Oh, that will be fun. The Big Island is our favorite to be honest. Enjoy the volcano and the beaches and the jungle!
It will be D. We’ve been there a couple of times and really enjoyed it. Peace Corps wanted me to train Peace Corps Volunteers there in the 60s. That would have been a kick, but I had other things to do.
🙂 🙂

Happy New Year Curt and Peggy!! Here’s hoping 2025 is packed with good things like family, love, adventure, wildlife, landscapes, and learning new things. We love you both! Pedro and Crystal ❤
Thanks, Crystal. Sending love right back at you.
How cute! Hope you had a Merry Christmas and that 2025 will be full of happy adventures for the two of you!

Thanks, T. It was fun to make.
And may you have a great New Year. I look froward to your continuing coverage of the National Parks and monuments.
Peggy and I are renting a house next to Hawaii National Park for the next month and will be re-exploring our favorite parks of the Southwest this spring.
You outdid yourself, Curt. Love these baaaaddd, cheerful psychedelic goats complete with grass to celebrate… lol! Thanks for the laughs and taking us with you on your travels this year. It’s always fun to share our stories, richness and banter of the year and look forward to another one. Hugs and love to you and Peggy!!!
💓💓💓💓💓🎉🎉🎉🥂🥂🥂🥂
The goats were play for me, Cindy. 😁And yes, It’s always fun! Peggy and I will be in Sacramento on Thursday for a week and then I’m taking a note from you, heading for Hawaii’s Big Island. For a month!
I met you both in 2018 in Desolation Wilderness, when you were on your long section hike to celebrate a milestone birthday. I happened to look at your blog today, and really like the Goats of Christmas Past. Happy New Year.
Thanks for commenting, Bill. That hike was a highlight, as was meeting people along the trail. I could have done without the fires and smoke, however!
Glad you liked the goats. I have a lot of fun creating the cards.
Hope you get your blog up and running. I’ll follow, for sure. Let me know. –Curt
