Pitcher or cobra plants on the PCT in the Trinity Alps

Also in the slightly weird category are these pitcher plants we found where the frog was hanging out. This guys, a young one and an old one, are carnivorous plants that eat insects, which are trapped in side the ‘pitcher.’ Another name for this planet is the cobra plant, given the shape of the plant and its ‘forked tongue.’
