The PCT crosses and follows close to a number of roads between Mt. Ashland and Seiad. Near Mt. Ashland, we met up with a number of day hikers. This couple, Ann and Dave Kelly were from Ashland. Dave was actually out there with a replace hip joint and indeed hiked part of the John Muir Trail with it!
